My mission is to provide family focused, culturally competent care to all I encounter. I am a certified birth, postpartum & bereavement doula and placenta encapsulator (specializing in but not limited to plus size pregnancies, high risk pregnancies, advanced maternal age pregnancies, pregnancy of multiples and teen pregnancies) BLS and CPR. I assist with all birth types to include home, hospital, medicated, unmedicated, VBAC, and planned cesareans.

Shaun Knolan is the founder and owner of Kaptured Kaios production company. She has made it her purpose to cause chaos in the film industry by bringing to life distinctive stories that disrupt the demelanated portrayal of black women and black narratives. Through her aberrant perspective of storytelling Shaun intends to create stories that defy, challenge and inspire.
